The Rub BBQ
After eating at The Rub BBQ last week I decided not only to knock it down a few spots but knock it down to #10. The meat portions were horrible and dry, the price was outrageous and the friendliness was lacking. It seemed the platter was filled with "onion straws" and bread to take away from the real BBQ. Even the youngest judge agreed that Oklahoma Joe's is much better. Touring BBQ restaurants we have decided that this place deserves a #10 at the best. If not, it should be completely removed from the list.

Bossystyle...GIRLS????
BOSSY GIRLS!!!!!!!!!
Not affiliated with us at all but these two silly girls from up north don't understand a damn thing about BBQ. Maybe they can have some ribs when they get their hair done at some trendy studio while they drink their Starbucks coffee.

The Rub BBQ - Olathe, Kansas

Check The Rub BBQ folks. Located at 10512 S Ridgeview Rd Olathe, KS 66061 (913) 894-1820. Great BBQ with amazing sauce. A little zing in it so if you like spice it's right up your alley. Also they have what many refer to as ABTs on Friday night. Jalapenos cored, halved and spread with chicken and cheese and then wrapped with bacon and smoked. Great stuff. One kid eats free everyday with each paid adult meal. Rubadubdub!

Winter BBQ - Drink Plenty of Water
BBQing in the winter months is especially fun. People enjoy it because they get to stand out there and freeze. Plus trying to keep temperature your cheap smoked from Ace Hardware is sometimes a great challenge. The positive side of this is being able to not sweat so much you faint like you do in the summer months. Make sure you drink plenty of water.
